There is no registration fee for any of the professional development events listed on this link. These sessions are currently open to personnel from Reading First, former Abbott and IDEAL districts. Regional sessions this year will focus on comprehension and coaching.
The regional training sessions are designed to deepen the content presented at related state-level sessions. The presentation and format is geared toward all literacy coaches, SELRCs, school literacy team members and/or supervisors/coordinators who are responsible for turnkeying the information at the district and school level.
There are four regional follow-up training events currently scheduled (see below). Each REGIONAL LEVEL event will be held only once in the northern region and once in the southern region. Districts located in the central part of the state may choose the location that is closest to them. We strongly encourage all personnel from the same district to register for the same date. Seating at each event is limited to 50 participants at the LRC SOUTH and 60 registrants at the LRC NORTH. Registration will be ON-LINE ONLY. Participants must adhere to the registration deadlines for each event listed below.
