Clearview Regional High School District serves 2,541 students in grades 7 through 12 from the rural and suburban areas of Harrison and Mantua townships. The community represents many occupational levels including executive, professional, skilled labor and farming.
The vast educational program is one which offers each student opportunities to study in the areas that match their interest and level of academic ability. The district supports a curriculum which prepares students for admission to institutions of higher learning, while also preparing them to meet their civic and social responsibilities. The district is committed to providing our students with an educational program that builds the skills and attitudes for leading productive and rewarding lives. Teachers, support staff, Board members and administrators work collaboratively to implement the best educational program available. A continued key to our success has been the high level of parent participation. We continue to encourage our parents to take an active role in their student’s educational experience.
While this Report Card will provide you with some statistical information about our schools, it does not represent all of what the Clearview Regional District offers to our students and communities. We take great pride in the many achievements and accomplishments of our students. Their diversified backgrounds, needs, abilities, and interests enable us to feature a variety of excellent educational opportunities and programs in the humanities, sciences, arts, and technology. Recently, we were recognized for being one of the top ten high schools in the region for our SAT scores. We’ve also been recognized on the ‘AP Honor Roll’ by the College Board for expanding our Advanced Placement courses to a broader pool of students, while maintaining our high performance level on the various assessments.
Our primary mission is to raise the level of academic achievement and behavior of our students, while instilling a sense of pride in the individual student. We feel strongly that our students must be challenged to perform at a high academic level and demonstrate appropriate behavior. We are determined to strive for continued success. I assure you we are committed to being a premier district that will be a source of pride for the entire school community.
On behalf of our Board of Education, students, staff, and administration, I thank the residents of Harrison Township and Mantua Township for their ongoing support of our programs. Your continued involvement will enable our district to continue its success.
